Should I sign this? The amount for the monthly rent is correct, but everything else is from the old lease. Where I lived before, there being a security deposit I pay to the broker, etc.

The broker sent me an e-Doc and I told her it's the old lease.

She said, "It's not. Please sign."

I guess "It's not," because it says $1400 instead of $1300 this time, but I just wanted to double check.

There are always mistakes every year when she sends things...like the address is incorrect.

EDIT: Nevermind! Question answered. Thank you!!

Are the dates the same as last year, or updated? Does it have the date the security deposit is due reflecting the original date of that payment?

the past addresses are immaterial.

Yes. All it represents is a waste of paper.

A single sheet describing the rate change "as provided for in pg X of lease" would suffice too.
Then everything else about the lease remains in effect without printing the 40 other unchanged pages.

Thank you for taking the time to respond!

And everything is last year's dates.

She sent exactly what you're talking about and I signed back in January. Then she sent this. I'll ignore the addresses and whatnot and sign once she fixes the dates. Thanks!

Yes. Insist that the dates are updated. That part is important.

Sounds like she got bad advice during the interim.
