Renters losing homes as landlords fall into foreclosure

The people in the article had it happen not once, not twice but 3 times....sorry but doesn't that make you look like a donkey....

Specially in Fl. where there are the public records and you can check within 5 min. the address, who the owner is and than the public records and you can find a lot.
I'm not saying they didn't ask the realtor, it is their word against the other...but 3 times makes me wonder...well at least the have their 15 min. of fame!

I'm just posting this because you can ask your LL to sign a paper to state he is current on his payments, and to show not to do like these people have done and yes some LL don't give a ... about other people.
I gave that signed paper without anybody asking me to do so. You have to use your common sense. Btw I have no mortgage so I can't default on one

I think this could end up being a more widespread problem before this is all over. In some cases, I guess the landlord can't help it. They need to be honest with their renters and give them ample time to move. However, the chances of that will be far and few between.
