$2.20 Fee to pay my rent on their website. Which means I will continue to go to the post office and mail my rent. No way am I giving them a extra $26.00 a year when I can continue to mail.
use the checkbook to make the payment .. theres no fee .. same for the electric companys
the fee is the use of the debit card .. thats why at places like the box stores ( walmart ect ) if you use the check deal that they return its wiser .. use the card and there is a fee .. stopid ehh BUT online pay by check makes more sense ...and saves money ..
Similar situation for me..... tried to set up online payments for my monthly HOA dues of $26 and change. The online site wanted a $9.95 "convenience fee" per month..... don't think so.....
Use your own bank's pay on line. they are usually free and if they can't do an electronic transfer, they will mail the check. i've been doing it that way for years.

I knew it was going to be a catch
I don't really care how you pay your rent but you mention having to go to the Post Office and buy a stamp every month. Why don't you spend 5 or 6 dollars and get enough stamps for the rent checks for a whole year. Or spend $8.80 and get twenty in a book?
