The only problem I see is that european and americans have vastly different taste and wants in vehicle as has been shown for centuries. I don't really thnik that Fiat left the market because they wanted to and don't see the FIAT 500 becomong popular. besides whicxh many of teh most popular european models are diesel which don't make the emiisions satndard now and aren't likel to in the future.Lookif a models for the future don't see much diesel increase predicted at all for that reason.

The models in the Hummer range need a serious down sizing and I'm betting the Chinese will be the ones to do it.

They'll probably beef them up even further for their own military use.
