What did you wish you have done in the past to have a better retirement?

Do you have any suggestions for the working class?

Wish I had done: start saving earlier

Advice: save, save, save!! Read up on basic personal finance and get to know frugal shopping....keep track for a month of EVERY SINGLE CENT YOU SPEND, then you will be stunned and find ways to cut back a bit.

I am not suggesting no-fun-for-you Just make firm decisions on how you spend your cash.

I was thinking about retirement in high school and started saving before I turned 18 while others were blowing money left and right every weekend.

Save and Invest wisely!

Frugal shopping is a no-brainer. The key is to be persistent.

I use Yodlee money center online to track everything, its free.

What was your target age for retirement and what age did you actually retire at?
