I'll second that!! I'm referring to looks, but I'm still full of energy. It has been said that I don't look 62. At 50, I looked like I was still 40. I'm sure when I'm 70, I'll look 90.

Between 50 and 60

During this time I took care of my Mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimers.

Not only did I age appearance wise but also physically from all the stress in addition to gaining weight from turning to food for comfort. I used to look younger than I am. Not anymore.

If you lose weight, one of the first places that it is noticeable......the face!

Lots more wrinkles. lots more loose skin to sag.

Me too. I'm 59 and didn't age that much until I was about 54. The last couple of years I see quite a change.

(Back story: My husband and I will have to work for some time. Not sure how long. We do not want age to be a factor in people choosing us to work with - we do not want to look our real age and actually do not. At least, that's what people tell us. We could easily pass for 10 years younger than we are).

The other day, my husband met up with 2 old friends from 28 years ago. One guy lives out west and is a comedian so he is out in front of people quite a bit. Very funny (obviously) but could pass for 40 easily. Great shape. The other guy looks like he's 75. Just very old looking - kind of a grumpy, complainer type. Neither is around here much; my husband has sporadic contact; I never really knew them well and don't remember either of them other than speaking on the phone.

They commented that my husband "looks the same" and never changes. So, this opened up some discussion between us - and of course, we know everyone ages but we still want to look presentable. By the way, all 3 - my husband being the 3rd - are around the same age.

(I told my husband it must be his great marriage and all the perks that go along with it). Both these guys are single, date a lot but never settled down.
Yeah the first couple of years. Folks keep telling me I was changing almost daily right before their very eyes. Was really amazing when I think back on it. The ladies really liked me but I was clueless. If I knew then what I knew wow oh man. Amazing how they just wanted to cuddle me and there I was clueless.
