The country is in trouble if the following are actually called "education." Some have some usefulness but too many children nowadays seem to have trouble enough just with the Three Rs. Surely college time could be better spent.

I've been through university three times, at 18, 28 and 35, (literature, engineering and geology, respectively) and every time the university/college has had a fun fluff course in this or that dept. Nothing new. Get a semester when you have differential equations, physical chemistry and fluid dynamics, and you are grateful for something fun.
