I've held a variety of jobs, in a variety of areas; I think you could pull this one off if you didn't seek too much mobility; that is, plan in staying in one set of quarters central to a lot of the things you seek, and change only every couple of months.

Just about every community you visit has some place geared to itinerant workers, but some of them can be pretty gritty; that's a trade-off only you can call the shots for.
