Sometimes I look in the mirror and wonder who is looking back at me. This series of photos is just how I feel. Where is that young woman who used to be in the mirror. Do you ever feel that way?

Very nice.

There was an old Loving Care slogan from 1971 that went something like this "You're not getting older; You're getting better".

I haven't seen the young man I used to be in the mirror for quite awhile.

The portraits were awesome. But I lack the capacity to fool myself.

When I look in the mirror, I just hope it's my lying eyes and not my mother.
Nice pics.

How do you feel when your wife now looks like her mother and you are lusting after a MIL look alike? Or just the opposite.

I think aroused is how I'd feel.

I mean this seriously so your MIL at a previous age arouses you. I understand that part does it seem strange?

I don't think the portraits are meant to mean that the older person "sees" him/herself as they used to be, but merely are remembering how they used to be.

I like them; they are well done. I think the portraits show a lot of empathy with the subjects. They are more for us, the viewer than the person who posed for the pics, IMO. And perhaps they are meant to foster empathy in us.
