I'm wondering if the differences in results is due to the difference in brands. Those of you who had bad experiences, which brand had you purchased?

I have only used compression sac to pack clothes for travelling. The Eagle Creek sacs work great and have lasted dozens of compression/uncompression cycles.

They are fantastic to make your clothes fit into the airline allowable carry-on bags especially for bulky winter clothing items.

If I need to reduce storage space or to pack for moving, I would definitely check into bigger sizes compression sacs/storage bags.

I have had great luck with Eagle Creek luggage and have pretty much replaced all our luggage/bags with this brand. They are some what pricey but have lifetime warranties, and I always bought them on clearance sale or discontinued models.
