Seniors are at riskvia a bipartison bill that not only eliminates cost of living increases ( due to perceived low inflationary
cycle at least at present) ,but sinse Social Security is NOT A CONTRACT the government can and has used monies even clandestantly not withstanding having the backing of the Supreme Court to STOP all payments whenever it chooses. This evidenced by former cases lost by those stripped of funds having zero rights to recoup. Entitlements are an endangered species thoughout business and retirement accounts !! In the words of the great late James Brown "SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER GET ON UPPA GET UPPA!!" Seriously , get your pitchforks sharpened , rat you hair and remove your front teeth we are going to "BRING IT!

STAY ON THE SCENE !

it does not have to be understandable . all that counts is it is bad news or so the op thinks it will be .

when you have to keep finding negative things to keep posting day after day it does not matter what you dig up

So Social Security, with the backing of the Supreme Court, can simply stop making payments. Good to know.

*insert eye rolling thingy here*

Also, they just announced that the 6.2% Social Security withholding on employees under the age of 45 is being increased starting June 1 this year to 9%. Employers match will stay at 6.2%. Expect your first paycheck in June to be a little smaller than usual if you're under 45 on June 1. All over age 45, no change.
