Good grief I said I wouldn't discuss with YOU anymore.

If you want to know more, check where I said. If you are dying to find some more info, do it yourself. I've showed you where to go and you still push for PROOF.... You sound like a couple others on this forum who are relentless on pounding for PROOF PROOF PROOF. You come across as child-like but who knows you could be as OLD as me. Some people really have appropriate usernames!!!!!!!!!!!

This is all too amusing or should I say funny.

jaminhealth, I looked for Ms Lanctot's book on Amazon. The cheapest used copy was a little over $25 so I will keep looking for a copy, but I did find several interesting articles about her online. I don't know how to do links, and doubt they would do any good here, but anyone who can use a search engine can find them. I suggest anyone following this thread do so.

She does appear to be alive. I believe calling her business there "quasi medical beauty clinics" is wrong. Its Florida.

She is an immensely interesting person and I share many of her beliefs based on the same information she references. I read an interview where she talks about her trial after the publication of her book. She is perhaps her own worst enemy when it comes to defending herself, due perhaps to the years of persecution she has experienced.

I watched my husband be doctored to death, It was his choice and he never lost faith. As a nurse, it broke my heart.

I don't know anything personally about grapeseed extract. I do think its important to eat a balanced diet, and hopefully to get the things we need for good health by doing so. I realize that this is not always possible.

I have had two instances in my own life where I got sicker and sicker going to the doctor and was helped back to health by non traditional methods. Once by a man who recommended hawthorne berry for a heart disturbance. I believe he saved my life.

I wish you continued good luck with your methods. I am lucky to have found a GP who agrees that more is not always better when it comes to "doctoring" and doesn't mind putting up with me I also use hypnotic suggestion for relaxation, reiki, and other therapies. They appear to work for me.

I don't think she's alive and when a member DUG into her life she posted a lot of stuff and one was Lanctot's own obituary. She goes by other names.
She would be old and there is a skype interview on the stuff DUG up by another C-D member...so who knows. It doesn't matter what she's chosen to do, it's her life and if she's still alive good for her. She fought the forces for all that she believed in. Maybe she is alive and living in FL as there are her names listed. Maybe she staged her obit, she was running from the law for years, she never killed anyone, robbed anyone etc...but didn't OBEY as she was supposed to.

I knew a man from my years of work who defected to switzerland or one of those countries with all his money and lives there in his peace.

I bought the book in 1995 and thinking back to where, it had to be at a health expo here in LA area. I was always going to the expos as I was thriving on learning about taking care of my own health. And all the alternatives out there for us who wasn't in love with the allopathic world.

I ended up in the ER in the 80's for a pharma anti inflammatory drug and that set me off on my journey to stop drugs. A stomach ulcer did it.

Sorry about your husband's path and I just went thru this with my sister and her long battle with MS and all the drugs those specialists pumped into her. She was 68 and all I can say now, she is out of decades of pain. She wouldn't listen to the alternatives I told her about.

Thanks for your comments, NewComputer. jam

PS: Here are some wise words...

https://thetruthaboutcancer.com/medi...re-buyer-dead/

I have an issue going right now with a hospital and 10+ doctors who were attending me with a knee issue and it took them 2.5 months to finally do an MRI and there it was a blazing staph infection, thinking about it had the MRI not been done, I could be dead. It took 2 months of abx drugs and they "cleaned it out" which I'm told caused more arthritis in the knee as more tissue is removed with these "clean outs". Good Lord what we go thru to Keep Living Well.

Interesting that you mentioned Grape Seed extract and it's possible anti-aging effects. I will attach some science to it for you.

There's a study showing that Grape Seed extract increases NAD+ levels. https://www.nature.com/articles/srep24977

From what I understand, cellular NAD+ levels rapidly diminish with age and is responsible for sirtuin activation as well as a DNA repair process. There are two direct precursors to NAD -- Nicotinamide Riboside and Nicotinamide Mononucleotide. We don't yet know which one is better to take and there's a lot of debate over that. David Sinclair -- A Harvard professor makes the bold claim that Nicotinamide Mononucleotide can possibly reverse aging. It's far more expensive than NR, though. Something to look into.

Do your own research and see what you get out of it.

Thanks and I can only say taking Grape SEED EX for over 22 yrs has been a lifesaver. Started at 57 and heading to 79. I've been "playing around" with Niacinimide in 500mg caps for arthritis. I threw away all allergy/sinus drugs back in 1995 after starting on GrapeSEED Extract.

A few people on another health group have been talking about Nicotinamide Riboside and it's very similar to Niacinimde, one is a precursor to the other.

Here is Dr. Kaufman's info on Niacinimide and OA.

I shall continue to go through life looking for the truth with a belief in science. Feel free to go through yours with your fingers firmly planted in your ears chanting "la, la, la, la."

Interesting. I have been looking into trying Dynveo's Grapeseed Extract.

Niacinamide (aka Nicotinamide/NAM) does seem to have some positive effects and is cheap. I hear it's effective in skin creams as well. But there are some real downsides. It requires use of an additional pathway (NAMPT) before it's converted to NMN. And that pathway loses some of it's effectiveness with aging. Also, an enzyme associated with inflammatory cells (CD38) greatly increases with age, destroys NMN and turns it into NAM/Niacinamide. That's thought to be the main reason why NAD levels decline with age. NAM is supposedly a potent sirtuin inhibitor, which is an opposite effect of NR and NMN. NR uses the NRK pathway (much more efficient) and is readily able to enter the cell membrane as NAD+.

My mother takes NR (she's in her 60's) and she's able to walk much easier and her arthritis has become far more manageable. I just hope it comes down a bit more in price. Some people theorize that when one takes Niacinamide and D-Ribose together, they become constituted as NR. I might try that out someday.

Good for your wise mother. I have used D-Ribose for years actually, learned about it thru FM/CFS support group as I was given the FM dx back in 1999 while I was search for my thyroid to get FIXED..doctors are so worthless, in my life I've seen that anyway. Live long enough and if you seek out supports, you will learn.

I learned a lot from the FM/CFS people and D-Ribose was one of them for Extra Energy. While in the recent rehab mess with my knee, I was taking toxic drugs and was able to get some of my supps into the rehabs but D-Ribose was not one of them...one can only sneak so much in. D-Ribose is not the lowest price supp but if it helps, then no big deal. It's only money and when we're gone and whatever is left, why not use it to keep as healthy while aging.

I think the FM dx is very much thyroid related and the thyroids not get the optimal support they need. Oh, I could go on and on about my almost 79 yrs and health.
