Anybody here actually going out tonight- New Years Eve?

My husband and I dressed up for dinner (crab legs, ribeyes, baked potatoes, salad, lots of champagne and cheesecake). We lit a fire, dug out some old Frank Sinatra and Nat "King" Cole recordings and thoroughly "enjoyed each other's company."

This was the first New Years Eve we were alone in about ten years. These three crazy girls usually came and spent the night with us, but one had to work on the first. It's hard watching them grow up. It was 6 degrees but we decided to dress up in our winter gear and do a two and a half hour walk at the zoo. It's really beautiful at night during the holidays.

We came home and watched Top Hat and sipped champagne. I fell asleep and nearly missed the stroke of midnight. I'm just getting over the flu. New Years day was better with our friends and their 5 year old. I like being with people during the holidays. I might head to Florida next year and be with one of my besties.

I was at work, no patients needed xrays so i was just sitting there watching netflix gettig paid time and a half.

Nice! I hung out with two men. Woohoo. Was fun. Ate some good snacks, drank wine, and watched the doings at Times Square on TV.
