I used to enjoy PittChick's posts. Haven't seen any in several years.

Anyone knows what happened with poster Nobodysbusiness? I believe she was in her late 60s or so, living in San Diego, and yearning to move to NYC (or specifically Greenwich Village) for the rest of her life. I was kind of reading her posts for additional perspective, since I am uncertain regarding my feelings about NYC in retirement, but it looks as though she had stopped posting in May 2021, and it says she is no longer a forum member (usually happens when somebody gets disinvited by mods, but maybe she just decided to quit, hopefully not something worse).

Regarding myself, I just want to mention that I am not deceased (if I were, I'd be posting in that thread about ghosts of the beloved departed wiggling a table), but I have suddenly lost my wireless Internet signal at home about two weeks ago, and now have to go to the park three blocks away to get online on my phone. This kind of limits what I can do in about an hour online. So, if you don't hear from me as much as before, I am fine, but Verizon is giving me a hassle.

Got banned, came back, got herself banned again. Probably will make an appearance again, if she isn't here already.

I'm sorry mathjak107 hasn't been around. I see he got in a tiff over on the investing forum, and I haven't seen much of him since.

Indeed one of the best posters we've ever had here. Personally, I think when you have a poster of that caliber special efforts ought to be made to retain them. I will say no more.

Mathjak could be a bit pedantic which really rubbed some people on the investing forum the wrong way.

Interesting thread. One sometime wonders what happened to dormant posters. I for one, have been diagnosed with stage 4 adeno-carcinoma lung cancer. and not sure why I feel compelled to share that---

Except, as a Christian believer, I'm somewhat excited by the prospects of 'going home soon .... and of having a wonderful opportunity to say goodbye to friends, family and loved ones on my terms and timing. I may write more as time passes.
