Evening folks:

Will be looking at Barefoot Resort again tomorrow for a single family home. Some gated communities, some not. Great realtor but he cautions us about the pools and community center (due to the influx of summer renters) being way overcrowded in the May to September months. Before we jump in (pun intended) I thought I'd ask you all if this an accurate assessment of the pools in BR.
As always thanks for your help here.....I will pay it forward.

-Steve

Suspect the local realtor familiar with that development is going to know almost as much if not more than someone who lives there. They talk to a lot of folks...those who bought in, those who didn't, as well as those who sold, and why.

So where is this Barefoot Resort?

You need to find out how many (or what percentage) of the homes are rentals. If there is an HOA do they have restrictions on owners renting out their homes? If so, does the HOA enforce it?

Next time you visit, try talking to some of the residents.

Yeah...the OP could have provided a little more info but, we have the technology available at our fingertips when that doesn't occur to help out a neighbor.

Barefoot resort is better than barebottom resort.

Hmm, or is it?

Next time you visit OP, ask some residents.

Also ask if the pool is restricted to residents only, or if they can invite every Tom Dick and Harry they know for a "poolside party", clogging the pool even more.

Best to ask lots of questions to people who live there, perhaps even the renters, who might provide insight more than the owner s.

Best of luck in inspecting the resort...
