I am very acquainted with Mississippi's program as they were the first and attracted a lot of attention.
I have contaced ( by mail or phone ) many of the cities in Mississippi that are part of it. ( I used mail and phone cuz that was a few years ago when I didn't have a computer)
I can't speak for other states, but I was very impressed with Mississippi's program and each city sent lots of literature that was very helpfull.
Also, each city listed offered an "ambassador" to act as a guide when I wanted to check out their town and assured me their "ambassadors" were not realtors or anyone else who was trying to sell me something.
All they asked for was advance notice.
I am glad to see other states are following Mississippi's lead.
