Socialism is an economic system characterised by social ownership of the means of production and co-operative management of the economy. Socialist about the Affordable Care Act. Socialism would be a Single Payer system. The ACA maintains the same private industry we already have, it just insures more folks, and the small penalty one has to pay for not signing up is weak. socialist than Car Insurance. True Socialism is me having to fit the bill for someone who gets their primary care in the ER (AND holds up the line) because they don't have ANY insurance. But as usual, I wouldn't expect the cons to understand these nuances of logic that the rest of the World easily grasps.
