I have received some private messages asking whether we were pleased with our decision to move to EG instead of Barrington, and I wanted to give a resounding yes! Happy with the community, the schools, the town, etc. Very accessible to the rest of the state, and lots of transplants here, which means new folks are warmly welcomed and aren't viewed as outsiders. My family also moved to EG last year, and will second that there are enough transplants here that we don't get attitude for being outsiders. Which is really nice!
