As mentioned in your other thread, 495 South to Foxboro, 95 South to Attleboro, 295 South to Warwick, 95 South to E Greenwich, Route 4 South (LEFT exit off 95) to N Kingstown where it merges onto Route 1 South to S Kingstown/Narragansett. Route 108 South to Galilee Escape Road. Park in one of the pay lots and walk to ferry depot.
I would think a hour early if you already have a ticket is overkill. It is not like going to the Vineyard out of Woods Hole where you park miles from the ferry and have to take a bus. All the lots are a short walk to the ferry depot.
Avoid Providence rush hour. Traffic gets very congested and can slow you down. If there is an accident, you are screwed and as an out of towner you would not know of other options besides 95.
