What is wrong with this person? Attacking tourists near Thayer Street on a Sunday morning??
Pawtucket resident Kelvin Colon has been arrested.
Colon also attacked someone on River Road on August 10.
"GoLocal has now learned that on the morning of August 10, Colon was arrested for allegedly perpetrating another random attack.
That morning, police responded to River Drive and Irving Avenue on the East Side for a report of a physical assault.
The male victim who contacted police said he was walking across River Drive when a car almost struck him, and the driver — Colon — got out and began attacking him unprovoked.
The victim said in the altercation both men ended up in the Seekonk River and that several witnesses saw the assault.
Colon reportedly fled in the same vehicle he used in the Thayer Street attack; a Gray Toyota Corolla that had neither a front nor rear license plate.
He was later arrested on simple assault charges — a misdemeanor."
