I lost power for 2.5 hours. Back on now. Several tree branches and a 15 ft limb came down in the yard. I should consider myself lucky as I have had two tall pine trees come down in the yard from high winds at different times in the last three years.

A nursing home in Pawtucket lost power...and their generator failed.

Rescues are currently moving some of the patients to hospitals.

127,000 customers in RI don't have power. National Grid says it's not safe to send their workers up the poles tonight. They'll start in the morning. It will be up to 3 days before power is restored.
