It would be a good depiction of the institution's history (at the very least) and progression over the years. That is, if they really wanted this they could. It's pretty clear their intentions are otherwise.
A new mural which side by side contrasted with the 50s depiction would be interesting to me, but I'm fine leaving the renovation up the university & its students.

Thanks for a voice of reason. That is all I was promoting.

Somehow the whole thing, as usual on this forum, got politicized and polarized.

Merely pointing out a press report on where Trump's son came down on this RI issue. Can't be held responsible for whose position he did & didn't favor. But, I can say, I am pleased it wasn't mine or the university's.

Once again, you can say this is off topic, but what is happening here is not happening in a vacuum. There are far worse stories than this from all over the country, every single day.

Here is just the latest example:

Baylor University placed a warning on a campus 9/11 display advising the 2,977 American flags as “sensitive content,” the Baylor chapter of Young Conservatives of Texas told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

What exact connection does Donald J Trump Jr have to the University of Rhode Island to make his opinion have any relevance?

That's up to you. Sorry that his opinion on the subject may have caused any discomfort here. He is the son of the president & entitled to his newsworthy view.

American flags carry warning labels and Kamala Harris is "proud" of Jacob Blake. I'm afraid you "liberals" have things completely reversed.

No discomfort here sir. I simply do not let politicians and other celebrities form my opinions on anything. You are more than welcome to discuss Donald Trump Jr., but I thought this topic was specifically about the mural being removed (as opposed to those "commenting" on the mural being removed). Forgive my ignorance.

Just to address one of your accusations, I sure would like a video, link or some kind of proof on that one.
