It’s similar to a few New Bedford middle class flight neighborhoods here. Similar ownership cost. Property tax rates here are half so home prices are a bit higher. The bus route to Kennedy Plaza makes the Providence things pretty easy access. Amtrak/commuter rail. Providence Place. Waterfire.
Honest question because i look in East Prov., Dartmouth, and New Bedford as well. Can you expand on/clarify this?
What are the flight neighborhoods and where are the ones you're referring to?

It's nothing to do with insulting anybody, but calling out bad information and making note that some posters here have no idea what they are talking about. Your snake oil buddy would call that "providing context".
I don't get the "middle class flight" thing either. Many people are unfamiliar with the city of East Providence. 02916 is solidly middle class and much is upper middle. Bridgham Farm is in 02916 and has houses like this:

When someone is so unfamiliar with RI that they don't know East Providence from South Providence, that should be made clear...especially when others are asking for their advice.
