Honest question because i look in East Prov., Dartmouth, and New Bedford as well. Can you expand on/clarify this?

What are the flight neighborhoods and where are the ones you're referring to?

Rumford? New Bedford's West End?

I don't get the "middle class flight" thing either. Many people are unfamiliar with the city of East Providence. 02916 is solidly middle class and much is upper middle. Bridgham Farm is in 02916 and has houses like this:

In the last 30 years, it's population has shrunk by almost 8% in total. They went somewhere.

Seems to me that you're derailing with this strange post.

When someone is so unfamiliar with RI that they don't know East Providence from South Providence, that should be made clear...especially when others are asking for their advice.
