First, three people were shot at Ligian Court in Johnston (off Simmonsville Ave., towards Atwood) leaving two dead and one injured. It then appears, that police apprehended and shot the suspect dead in the area of Simmonsville and the Plainfield Pike on the Cranston line. Exit 6 on 295 has been blocked off, with a massive amount of law enforcement in the area. Story is developing, but thankfully the suspect is dead and there's no more danger to the public.

This happened today at 7:30 AM. The police were there last night at around midnight.
"Johnston Police Chief Mark Vieira initially declined to comment on whether police had previous contact with Harrison, but he later confirmed officers were at Ligian Court around midnight Tuesday."
