I know of Apex Bus. It will take you from Richmond to Chinatown. if you buy online, it will be 35 each way, or 60 roundtrip. but, you can just go to the bus station (on brook road, where the walmart and big lots is) the day you want to leave and it will only cost 15 bucks. I did it back in August. left around midnight and got to Chinatown around 5am.

Exactly what I was going to say! The stop in New York is on Allen and Grand, I believe!

Has anyone used this bus? It is far cheaper than traditional bus or train but I am wondering if it is safe and comfortable.

My brother has used it and has made it in one piece everytime! He did say he was in very cramped quarters.

theres a bus that does the same thing, same price but it leaves richmond at 7am sharpe. its located off of broad street and boulevard right next to the 7 eleven. i used to ride that bus all the time when i wanted to take a trip to ny (besides it saves money and gas and putting 400 miles on my car) the bus drops you off on 34th street and 5 th avenue in front of footlockers and right across the street from the world famous Macys.
