Please to Who ever can help me.
My Husband and I Were or still are in a contract on a house. We had to do an Addendum on the house because of how long it was talking to close. We had to do a 203K loan on this house. They never signed the Addendum and said they would if we could get a Approval letter from our bank. Well Our bank would not give the approval letter until the Appraisal was complete. Of course it takes and act of congress to get a Hud Appraisal done. So The bank that owns the Property decided to pull the contract on the house. I am fine with that. We sent them a Release letter to sign a month ago and have not received it back. We are now in the process of purchasing another Property and our bank is requesting the release letter that we do not have. Now I would like you to know that they have already put the house bank on the market and we are stuck waiting on the release letter. Please some one I need so insight.

Your realtor should be your first call. If they are not being helpful, find out who the listing agent is on the relist and call them.
They should have the contact info for the bank. Do you know who the bank is? You can try calling them. Somewhere in your paperwork should be a name you can call and try to follow the trail back to the person you need to get that letter from.

Hopefully when you find the right peson, they can just fax you a copy of what you need so you won't be delayed any longer than necessary.
