My wife and I have been looking for a home in Chesterfield for two months. We are taking our time and have been shown 25-30 homes by a really great realtor. We are looking in the $250-300k range and there are 100's of homes in that price range on the market. Several of our favorites are in the Woodlake and Brandermill developments. Is the shrink-swell soil issue still an issue in those areas? Have there been any major problems recently in these developments? Thanks, in advance, for any good info on this subject.
