I am looking for any information or repository of old business articles, records, etc. that mention to the Cedar Works prior to its acquisition. This was a large business in Richmond early in the last century.
Thanks
Jack

Apparently it's the location of Rockett's Landing in Richmond from the information I have found. I see a reference that the company was out of Danville also.

I need a replacement lid for a model 78 electric ice cream freezer. Is the Richmond Cedar Works still in business? If not, did someone else take the company over?

Richmond Cedar Works is long gone. It was purchased by Dimon (a tobacco leaf processor also located in Danville, VA) in 1967. In 1990, Dimon sold its ice cream maker business to Rival Products. Their web site is Home - Rival® Products, customer service is 1-800-323-9519.

Good luck.

I have a question, if Richmond Cedar Works sold their ice cream maker business in 1967, how could I have a 5 quart ice cream freezer from the Richmond Cedar Works that was sent by them by UPS,Sept 11, 1980 in a printed box with a picture of the freezer on the sides. I am searching for the instructions for use and also a receipt book.

I have an old RCW oaken 5 Qt electric ice cream freezer, and the paddle is broken. The model number on the box is EDBW5 and underneath 41652. Have had the freezer for over 20 years, and it still works like a dream. Is there anywhere that I can get a paddle replacement?
