I went to the West End store. Very nice, but no plastic bags? wth? Paper is too flimsy. I won't be going back.

The location stinks and is not designed to handle this type of commercial traffic. Too boot there is no Wegmans even in Hanover they are in the West End(Short Pump) and Westchester Commons (Midlothian).

Bring you own bags people. Easier for you and better for the environment. Boomers and this plastic bag thing sheesh.

I think it is in a decent location. I really don't know where else they would have put it. It's also good for those who walk and/or use public transportation. As far as bags go, I've been shopping at Lidl lately so I've gotten used to it. It isn't really much of a hassle. My friends in that area seem to love it. Retail in urban settings is naturally going to have less parking. Like a Walmart or Target in DC isn't going to have the parking that the same store will have 45 min out into the suburbs.

Couldn't rep you for some reason but I agree - take your own reusable bags.

This is for a distribution warehouse not a retail store, there is no walkability, public transportation or even a traffic light. This is the proposed site.

Uh no not easier for me. As for the environment, I recycle and do more than my share otherwise in terms of both time spent and donations made. Also I keep the plastic bags and make use of them for various other things.

Millennials and their holier than thou attitude, sheesh.

(See how lame age stereotyping is?)

As for the location being good or not, that's probably determined by where you live and if you do or don't like Kroger.
