We've just moved to Richmond and were wondering if anyone knew of an Old Catholic or Independent Catholic Church that would welcome us. We've heard of one in the area and just can't seem to find it.

I think they are looking for a Catholic Church unaffiliated with the Roman Catholic Church.

Default Yes there is an Independent Catholic Chuch in Richmond

Gentle Shepherd Church is a member of the Catholic Apostolic Church of Antioch, one of the country's largest independent catholic jurisdictions. We are located at 3700 Ellwood Avenue in Richmond and have mass every Sunday at 11:00 am.

We are fully catholic, fully sacramental and non creedal, with a modern technology suited to worship in our times. We practice an open communion and are totally accepting of all, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation.
