We will soon be moving to the area and need to hire a company to do all the lifting/unloading when we arrive with a truck on move-in day.

Does anyone have any recommendations for honest and reliable movers?

Thanks!

Hilldrup is a well respected local van line. I imagine you could pay them an hourly rate to unload your truck, but I'm not certain. We used Hilldrup once to move from an apartment to a house and once to move out of our house when we moved to FL. Their rates were very reasonable.

J.D.G. - I typically use Google to gather info about professional services in the area and still post on this forum to solicit personal recommendations from people who may have used particular companies or individuals.

For those that might stumble upon this post later, we ended up going with Quality Movers and they did a great job unloading our truck.
