Wanting to move to Richmond and have been recommended the Bellevue area.

Can someone give me an idea of the area?

Restaurants...bars...shopping...schools...houses

Any info would be great.

We are a couple in our twenties, looking to buy a single house. Start a family eventually. He is a photographer and I am a pet grooming, looking to start a boarding/grooming business.

It's a cozy side of town, "partying" typically isn't the first thing that comes to mind but I guess it depends on what you're into, VCU students rent out there so you might find something. I don't believe any malls are in that area, could be wrong as I normally do not venture on that side of town. It's moments from Richmond International Raceway, Author Ashe Center and the Diamond if that helps.

Not sure what schools you're talking about (grade school? college?) but here's the school zoning chart (http://richmond.k12.va.us/indexnew/sub/Directions/schoolmap/elm.cfm - broken link)for the Richmond school system.
