Hi - I need some help please, with up to date info on Pulaski, about an hour out of Roanoke.

Can I get a 3 bedroom rental house for $800? Are landlords pet friendly for big dogs? (I have 4, 2 big, and 2 small).

Especially a general idea of what the people are like. Do they take care of their kids? Do they like animals? Are they nice? democrats/republicans? rich/poor? law abiding/not so much? good ol boy/preppies? drive well/too fast? any dominant religious church?

Also is there REALY much crime like i heard or is that an exaggeration?

Is there a bad part of town I should stay away from? Or is my price range going to leave me only in a bad area?

ANY info would be great, thank you in advance!

Default don't do it!

Pulaski is depressing, to sum it up. There is nothing there! It is majorly poor and full of pillheads and rednecks (good ole boys). As far as democrat vs. republican, I honestly think that the vast majority don't care either way! They don't know what's going on in the world. They're uneducated. Ignorance is bliss in Pulaski.

About rentals, you can probably find something for $800 because landlords are desperate for decent tenants.

Why are you considering Pulaski? It surely can't be because of a job. There are none. Trust me, consider Blacksburg or Roanoke instead!

But yes, it is for a job at that factory there. Do not want to be killed though.

You don't have to live in Pulaski - you can live in Radford, or one of many other smaller communities that are within 10 or 15 min of Pulaski.
