I guess the same applies to Mobile Alabama whether you're pronouncing it correctly as MOE-BEEL or incorrectly as MOE-BULL

This was a really entertaining thread. One that get's me coming from the west coast is how people pronounce Boise, ID. It's pronounced "Boy-see" but I hear people say "Boy-zee" all the the time.

Very interesting! This is the first time I've ever even heard that anyone pronounces it with the short A. Good to know.

I did find it amusing that she keeps referring to "Ar-land", though.
