Sounds as though the buyer has no plans in renovating.... Looks like they are just interested in sitting on the property, waiting for the economy to improve and then sell it for a profit.
Would love to see it renovated and turned either back to an upscale hotel or into condos/apts, but that doesn't seem to be the case...
