Hello Roanoke , I am a FF/EMT living in the Northern tundra of DownEast Maine and work for Calais Fire Dept. , I was looking to move my family to Ft Wayne/Indianapolis and discovered with some networking that Indiana is a very pro career FF state. Which is fine by me except looking at Fire jobs the max age is 36...well I just missed that
I am 37 so no luck ! I want to work fire ems and don't care if I'm a Voly .
We are now looking at Roanoke to buy a home or it's burbs, and would like to know if anyone thread surfing knows of a good Fire service I might contact to chat with the Chief ?
