rode my motorcycle from Genesee Valley park, north on S. Plymouth Ave at twilight the other nite and was very impressed.

OK, but would you walk those streets at twilight or at any time after twilight?

I ended up with an apartment in Brighton, east of 590. Seems good so far. I love how little traffic there is, even in rush hour - at least compared to the congested highways of Long Island.

Cool - you made a good choice. Yeah, the traffic here is great - 20 min from almost anywhere is nice.

You'd be alright at the north end of S. Plymouth, north of Ford street, but yeah, most of that stretch I would avoid.

Is the area I'm working in safe at night if I'm burning the midnight oil?

You should be alright. Corn Hill (where I gather you're working) is a fine area. A few blocks away it gets kinda rough - I'd say as long as you're not across Ford St you'll be fine.

Ah, okay. I'm working on Plymouth Ave. South, south of 490. Thanks for the info! Much appreciated.

Now, I need to get back to packing :\
