Has anybody noticed this lately? Over the past couple of days I have seen these people with buckets, asking for donations both in Henrietta and Perinton. They are about 2-4 people running into intersections during red lights asking for money. This is annoying since the lights are constantly changing and they have held up traffic.
One can only hope they end up getting run over by a bus, and that other would be participants would learn a lesson to leave us alone and just let us get to our Moderator cut: language destination.

Rt 250 and 441 in Penfield...everyday.... I am so afraid I am going to hit them- they just wander into the street.... I heard they are from scam church/organization- it was on the news a while back... I just roll up the windows and lock the door.
The firemen use the boot though... These people are using a bucket and there is nothing being advertised they are just coming up to cars... It is actually quite intimidating.

So............every church? I'm kidding, people, it's a joke.
But seriosly, where are the police? If these folks are engaging in a dangerous activity like wandering into the street during rush hour, shouldn't the police be there, either shooing them off or providing some sort of traffic control? Also, isn't that the type of "fundraising" you'd need a permit for? Maybe someone should call the town/village to see what's going on if this is still happening.
