Does anyone in Rochester play volleyball? (Ontario, Charlotte: university, live in, gyms)

Hi! I just moved to the Rochester area from CT! I was wondering if anyone knew if people play volleyball here and where. I am interested in finding open gyms or parks that people play pick up games at. If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks a bunch.

There is a place on University called HotShots. Also, in the summer, Ontario Beach Park in Charlotte is a big beach volleyball hangout. I am not a volleyball player, so that is the best I can do.

I'm also looking for some kind of pick-up volleyball league. I have a team maybe more. Just need some more players and a set night and a rake I guess but it would be nice to band to gather with people that are allready playing regularly. Let me know if you find anything. I also hear Shadow park has weekly vball and there is the ten ugly men turniment and the Ooze fest, a mud vball turniment.

Hey, I know this is old, but I also live in Rochester so maybe it'll be useful for others.
Before I found myself regular team mates I used trytopic.com a lot. They publish pickup events regularly, so I'm sure if there's something at Charlotte beach and the rest of Rochester, it's there.
