Where has Rochester been mentioned or even showcased in pop culture? This could be in television, movies, literature, music, anything. Post here. This could be a fun and interesting thread

I'll start.

Ghost Hunters Season 8 Episode 25 Part 1/3 - Due Date with Death - YouTube

(terrible movie)

Super-Hoe-Boogie Down Productions - YouTube (2nd verse)

And that's pretty much it. Why focus on a worthless place in popular culture ?

Why make tactless posts on the forum of a "worthless place" if you are too good to be there?

I think another interesting version of this is something I posted in another area of c-d....viral videos/popular news stories from the area.

For Rochester there's the good (heartwarming)...

The Bad (funny to a point, nut also kind of pathetic and possibly a little bit racist)

And the downright UGLY....

not even close. The area has been mentioned in many shows other the years. Seinfeld, several shows on the food network, daily show, those csi type shows, etc.

Elaine mentioned it in passing. That is such a joke that you'd consider that something worthy. Now you're just reaching.

Google the movie "Power of Duff". That would have been interesting.

Daily Show did the bit on the Conedom, still watchable on YouTube.

The title of the thread is asking for instances where the area is MENTIONED. I am giving examples of when the area is mentioned. Not really stretching to provide pieces of information that fit the thread title.
Daily shows did the conedom thing and has also mentioned the area several times. I recall Dennis Leary and John Stewart having a conversation about them coming up and when they were in this area together doing a show.

It's not interesting to discuss mentions. Mentions make naive people feel that they are relevant, when it is in fact, just a mention. There is nothing more sad than a WHAM 13 story on Rochester mentioned in a Stallone movie. Just accept irrelevance already!

The thread title is asking for mentions so I am providing them. You don't seem to get what is going on here. It's not about what you find interesting.

You're right; it's more about what the world finds interesting...

It's about what the original poster is asking for, a concept that seems to slip your mind.
