With horrible pay salary and three kids in Upstate New York, he is not going to send his kids to ivy league school. So much for the cheap housing in Upstate New York. A friend of mine moved away from Rochester NY three years ago and they haven't even able to dump their house and that's in Pittsford. I can only hope to move away like you one of these days but people get too comfortable living in this cheap/dump housing market in Upstate NY. Sometimes I think we live in Upstate because we can't afford or don't have to guts to move away. Congratulations on making such a courageous move! Must be nice to live close to the ocean.
How do you know? Again, starting new accounts and attacking posters that you don't know. That's the move, I guess. You don't have to attend an Ivy to get a good education and there are other institutions of higher learning that are on par or similar.

I like it when people post websites that contain statistics made up by the organization themselves. As if the Lilac Festival organizers really know how many people showed up...

I like it that somebody who's lived in another state for all of 3 months at most and somebody else who's still living here but wishes he/she were elsewhere are so convinced that the first one made the right move. Come back when you've lived there for three years rather than three months, Rory.
As for zinnia ... I actually know people who own homes in South Carolina, and it's a good thing that they aren't interested in selling them because they're still "underwater" with them! The overheated housing market in resort areas like South Carolina still hasn't recovered from 2008. It's a good time to buy, but it's sure not a good time to sell.
Are you in a fantasy world that it's not possible for more than one person to not like your sh*t town? You need a reality check, honey.
