Any free outdoor skating right now in the Rochester area this week (well hopefully into the weekend)? I'm talking just a park rink where I can take the kids (little kids) for a hour or so on Friday or Saturday with hockey sticks and pucks.

If not I may just take them up to Manhattan Square, looks like it just reopened last week.

I went to mendon ponds park this past weekend and the ice was smooth enough.

That's perfect. With respect to the park (I can get there), where was the rink, or pond?

Take clover street to the canfield rd entrance. Take canfield to Hopkins road I believe (right on hopkins). At the end of hopkins is the pond.
