I'm willing to bet Golisano sees something with Kodak's chemical expertise. Specifically I bet the recent announcements about Kodak getting into base components of drug manufacturing is playing a large role. No matter who is president bringing this production back to the United States is a matter of national security and Kodak already has the infrastructure and expertise. With the right investments and decision making it's a fairly straightforward pivot for Kodak.
