Video of the junction from when a new canal was constructed around the city and the new, improved canal became the Barge Canal. This is the western end.
Favorite part was looking at the old stone culvert with the sounds of gently flowing water.
The whole time I was thinking hmm I wonder if there'd be ticks back there, and then sure enough at the 25:55 mark he says he got a tick on his pant leg!
