I don't think weather data is ridiculous. Simple facts about our weather. Your posts never inspire me either but that's Ok.

It's Weird that you are so bothered by factual weather data.

Chimérique, I have a few questions.

What was the high temperature for Sacramento July 25, 2014?

What was the "heat index"?

Can you please give us a 3 day forecast for today and the next 2?

Im willing to escape this oppressive Fresno heat and go somewhere where the weather is better than most other places in the country. Please reply back!

yes, WE are hotter than fresno.

Not all of us live in the city of Sacramento. Many of us prefer to live in the suburbs.

Why not just say EDH and Folsom......instead of "We".

Many people reading this do not know where YOU live.

Then you should stop using those cities to bolster Sacramento at other times. I notice sacramentans like using the out skirt towns for population stats and amenities when bolstering the area, but for anything perceived negative like weather, racism, sprawl, and boredom, people act like they're separate.

I rarely use those other cities to bolster Sacramento's weather. And when I talk about those other cities I usually make it clear that I talking about those other cities.

Other metros all over the country use "out skirt" towns when "spouting" about their amenities when bolstering about this or that. Also, the city limits in many other cities are so huge it includes the same area-land size so it's fair to include Sacramento's main suburban cities in stats when talking about economy, etc.

Regarding the weather, when talking about the entire Sacramento metro area there are places that are hotter and cooler than the city of Sacramento on the "outskirts", Davis - cooler and Folsom - hotter.

You spout about Fresno being 4hrs -one way - away from LA, hmmm.

More importantly, California metros like LA, the Bay Area and Sacramento have micro-climates, some more obvious than others.

When one talks about SF having "cold" summers, they exclude the fact that within the SF metro, like 5 miles across a bridge, it's warm and sunny, or the differences between between San Fernando Valley cities and Beach cities in Los Angeles.

It's no different for Sacramento - 3/4 of the Sacramento Metro receives either a strong dose or a moderate dose of cooling from the Delta Breeze, ON AVERAGE, consistently throughout the summer.
