When we move to Sacramento in a few months, we’ll be looking for a tennis club to join. Looks like there is an active USTA community and also SATA as well. What are your recommendations for joining a club where there are friendly (yet competitive) USTA teams? We’re looking for one that would welcome us pretty easily to join teams. We’re both 4.0 level and play both single gender and mixed doubles. We could go either to a club with lots of frills or one with no frills...the people and tennis community are the most important consideration.

At the club where we are members now, teams are pretty clique-y, and it can take a really long time for new players to get on a team—so we are looking to avoid that.
