Hola everybody! We're contemplating a move near the Placerville area, and we have a high end interior design firm/furniture showroom that we would be bringing with us. We still have a TON of research we need to do before pulling the trigger on this, but I wanted to get everyone's thoughts.
Is there a specific area in Sac that would support a luxury retail furniture showroom/interior design firm better than other areas? We plan to tap into the Tahoe market as well. We visit SLT every year and absolutely love it!
Thanks in advance

If it were me my first choice would be fairly close to the RC Wiley in Rocklin followed by the Ikea in West Sac. Those are both areas where people go to look for furniture after they buy a new house. So you are seeing furniture stores cluster near both of them. The advantage of Rocklin vs West Sac is that its closer to higher end neighborhoods in El Dorado Hills, Folsom, Granite Bay, Loomis, Roseville and Rocklin.

Another option would be pretty close to the Mansour's Oriental Rug Gallery. People who are spending 20 grand on Persian rugs probably the same customer base you are looking for. Also notice where these guys are advertising.

Perhaps look into locating in El Dorado Hills south of US-50 along Latrobe Road. El Dorado Hills is an upscale community and there’s a business park within a mile of the El Dorado Hills Town Center. This area is also adjacent to Folsom Ranch, where a series of upscale neighborhoods are being constructed.

Thanks so much for the helpful info. We’re in town now, looking around and doing some research. But that was very good info.
