Considering moving to Sacramento from San Diego and this is an important factor. In San Diego we have some "unofficial" dog parks (meaning you won't find them on a Google Maps search) that only the locals know about. Just to clarify, I'm only interested in places where I can allow my dogs to safely and legally go off-leash.

A couple examples for any of you familiar with SD include Berry Street Park (Lemon Grove) and Lamar County Park (Spring Valley), both of which have dog parks that will not show up on Google Maps.

Sierra 2 in Curtis Park comes to mind, but the neighborhood has been battling to split the park into a legit dog park with a fence and all.

Seems like everyone lets their dogs run off leash here in Carmichael at Maddox Park lol.
