Some kind of harmless toad or frog is making mounds in my yard. My dog, who never dug before, is now tearing apart my lawn. Only where the mound was. That is why I am pretty sure it isn't a mole or something. Anyone have any suggestions to getting rid of the toads?

Sounds more like gophers or one of their related rodents. Toads don't dig holes (they will "burrow" in soft mud though) and you're more likely to find toads where there is a water source or a wet place.

That was what I thought at first. So i was going to flood the mounds but then I notcied the toads in the mounds. And my sister said flooding them would make it worse. Maybe it's a combo of both. Any ideas?
