They are more business crime oriented than say, the street gangs. In Rancho, there are numerous auto related companies that are owned by them. They are tight-nit but don't go looking for trouble like the street gangs will. They are more interested in keeping a lower profile and doing their thing beneath the legal radar.

Alright wise guys! As a member of the Russian speaking Slavic community of Sacramento California, i would respectfully ask this racist nonsense to stop were it is before this becomes a civil case. There are no such things as "Russian gangs" in Sacramento, never has been, never will. For your enlightenment-the local Russian/Slavic community in this city is predominantly Christian and highly religious, which condemns any form of organized crime activity and supports legal punishment thereof. Besides being a state historical presence we are also an important part of the unique diversity of the region and second largest minority presence in Northern California after the Hispanic community. If you have any questions, please contact our community centers. We do not appreciate or deserve this kind of ignorant misinformation online.Thank you.

[quote=Amplafy;14124515]Why do we fund these anti American disrespectful criminals. Look these people are comming here on our tax dollar and get more opportunities for schooling than Americans do they get free money to live here, why are we tolerating this. I can see helping people who want to be law abiding American citizens.
Yet they dont want to be American...... I say screw them....... Enough with this crime and hate America attitude.....[/b]QUOTE]

Now, now! That's hardly a celebration of diversity that is always being touted and is decidedly politically incorrect!

Years ago I helped bust one of the Russian Mafia's car rings and put one of their lieutenants (a neighbor of ours) in prison.

Actually there is a large Russian organized crime presence in LA. The "Bratva" as they call it which means brotherhood. There are several branches of Eastern European organized crime. Among the Russians, there are the Jewish, the ethnic Russian, and then the Armenian (not Russian but lumped together).
